Barry Odom and the Missouri Tigers continue replacing vacant positions on the coaching staff.

On Friday, FootballScoop reported that Missouri hired former Florida OL coach Brad Davis for the same role. Davis coached one year under Jim McElwain at Florida.

The website had reported that Dan Mullen had hoped to retain Davis as a TEs coach (he brought OL coach John Hevesy from Mississippi State), but it appears that coaching the OL is Davis’ passion. He has coached the OL at four schools prior to Florida, including East Carolina.

Davis’ hire comes after former OL coach Glen Elarbee followed Josh Heupel to UCF.

On Thursday, Missouri announced that it had hired former Arkansas assistant Vernon Hargreaves to coach the inside LBs. The Tigers have yet to fill the OC and QB coach roles.
