Normally, the Purdue Boilermakers use a two-quarterback system, with David Blough and Elijah Sindelar both getting playing time.

However, ahead of a Week 3 showdown with Mizzou, the Boilermakers may be without Sindelar, who is dealing with an undisclosed injury.

According to Rivals.com, coach Jeff Brohm said Sindelar will be a game-time decision:

“Some of that we’ll keep internal but we’re getting all of those guys ready to play but we’ll let it play out until game time,” Brohm said. “I think whoever starts will be ready to go.”

For a team that has struggled like Purdue has, missing one of the quarterbacks will make things difficult.

Sindelar seems to be the better passer of the two, as well, and the Boilermakers are going to need to throw the ball if they’re going to beat the Tigers.
