Though he struggled in three of Mizzou’s first four games, QB Drew Lock has been incredible lately and currently leads the SEC with 2,795 passing yards and 31 touchdowns.

He threw for three touchdowns against Kentucky, four against No. 1 Georgia and three more against Florida over the weekend, proving that he has improved from 2016 and can now compete against tougher defenses.

Lock’s 31 touchdown passes are first in the country, one ahead of West Virginia (and former Florida) QB Will Grier. And, making that stat even more impressive, Lock has single-handedly thrown for more touchdown passes than 125 other FBS teams:

With games against Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Arkansas left on the schedule, Lock could be in for a few more big games.

As the Tigers have battled back from a 1-5 start to bring their record to 4-5, a bowl game is now a real possibility.

If Lock can continue to find the end zone through the air, Mizzou could end up qualifying for postseason play and Lock could have a very special season.
