Tyler Badie set Mizzou’s single-season rushing record in 2021 and parlayed that into being a sixth-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft.

But, on roster cutdown day on Tuesday, Badie was among the players sent to the waiver wire by the Ravens.

On Wednesday, though, it was revealed by Badie’s agent that he’d be staying in Baltimore, signing with the Ravens’ practice squad for the upcoming season:

The Ravens currently have JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards (out the first 4 weeks, at least, with an injury), Justice Hill and Mike Davis ahead of Badie on the depth chart.

Will he be able to find his way onto the active roster at some point this fall? We’ll find out starting in a couple of weeks.
