It appears the loss of offensive coordinator Josh Heupel has hurt Missouri more than most had suspected as the Tigers enter halftime of the Texas Bowl down 21-7 to Texas thanks in large part to an inept offense.

Heupel, of course, left the program to take over the Central Florida program. Heupel also took Mizzou offensive line coach Glen Elarbee with him to Orlando and thus far, the Tigers have struggled to adapt to the adjustment of Barry Odom’s staff.

Junior quarterback Drew Lock is 10 of 14 for 91 yards but has yet to throw a touchdown after throwing 43 during the regular season. Mizzou also has two turnovers in the game.
