Many expect former Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham to have a breakout second-year with the Tennessee Titans. However, he’ll need to work out a mini camp slump first.

Green-Beckham dropped several passes in drills during the Titans’ second day of camp Sunday, including the one shown below:

The Tennessean reported that Green-Beckham also struggled with consecutive passes thrown to him in a 7-on-7 drills. The second-year wideout was late on a skinny post route and tipped a pass from starting quarterback Marcus Mariota. Two plays later, he dropped a slant pass thrown by backup Matt Cassel.

However, the former Mizzou receiver earned praise during his first day of camp for showing up eight pounds lighter and adding more muscle to his frame, while also making several impressive catches.

“Yeah, I think he had a really good day (Saturday),” Titans coach Mike Mularkey said. “He did some really good things. He ran a sight adjustment off of a blitz, which he missed numerous times last year.

“He caught the ball well yesterday, and today, not as well. That’s what we’ve been talking about — these guys that can play consistently, come out every day, and day-after-day, make the same plays. That’s what we need from them. There is nobody that’s going to be harder on him than himself.”

Green-Beckham was the No. 1 wide receiver prospect for the 2012 national recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He recorded 87 receptions for 1,278 yards and 17 touchdowns during his first two seasons at Missouri, but was dismissed by the team after multiple arrests and suspensions.
