Entering the 2018 season, Mizzou QB Drew Lock is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy. He put up huge numbers in 2017 and is primed to do it again this fall.

One knock on him, however, is his accuracy, as his completion percentages have left a little to be desired over his Mizzou career.

On Saturday, though, NFL Draft analyst Mike Detillier raved about Lock’s accuracy, saying he has never seen such an accurate passer at the Manning Passing Academy:

“I’ve never seen a quarterback more accurate at throwing a football than Drew Lock from Missouri,” he says. “He’s the best — the best quarterback here at this campus. If I had to pick one guy — I told you this last year, Baker Mayfield was the guy — this year, no question, Drew Lock, Missouri.”

That’s great news for the Tigers, who need Lock to be at his absolute best to improve on last year’s 7-6 record. And, if he improves his accuracy this fall, he could enter the mix for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
