Virginia got off to the worst possible start Saturday against Pittsburgh. Everything is going wrong for UVA.
The Cavaliers received the opening kickoff. That turned out to be good news for Pitt.
Virginia QB Brennan Armstrong looked to pass on the first play of the game. The pass was intercepted by M.J. Devonshire and returned 29 yards for a touchdown.
The next UVA offensive play went pretty much the same. This time it was Marquis Williams intercepting Armstrong and taking it back 39 yards for 6 points.
Both extra points were successful, giving the Panthers a 14-0 lead with 14:44 on the clock in the 1st quarter.
Two plays. Two pick-6s.
Unbelievable start for the @Pitt_FB defense ? pic.twitter.com/OZjPxrcJIS

Pitt continues to roll, adding 2 more touchdowns in the 1st quarter to make it 28-0. The Panthers were only a 5.5-point favorite in the game. Pitt is certainly on track to cover, barring an epic collapse in Charlottesville.
The game is airing on the ACC Network.
