Alabama shares hype video featuring ‘best QB room in the country’

Does Alabama have the best quarterback room in the country? UA certainly feels comfortable making the claim – at least on social media.
Hype for the 2018 season is starting to pick up with SEC Media Days fast approaching. The Crimson Tide’s social team shared a minute-long hype video Tuesday of highlights featuring quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa. Hurts entered January’s national championship game 25-2 as a starter before being pulled in favor of Tagovailoa, then a true freshman, in the second half. After Tagovailoa rallied the Tide for a come-from-behind win over Georgia, the competition between the two for the starting job has been one of the most talked-about topics of the college football offseason.
As the highlights show, Alabama’s No. 2 option this fall would likely start almost anywhere else (save a few schools) in the FBS. With that in mind, it’s hard to argue with UA’s claim to having the “best QB room in the country.”
