Following the school’s decision to remove Mike Anderson from his head coaching position in Fayetteville, one of his former players has reportedly decided to leave the program.

According to Corey Evans of Rivals, freshman guard Keyshawn Embery is planning on leaving Arkansas and will transfer to another school. Embery will have to sit out a season if he decides to stay at the FBS level.

Embery appeared in 33 games for the Razorbacks last season and averaged just over four points per contest with 1.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists. The Midwest City, Okla. native signed with Arkansas out of IMG Academy in Florida.

The school has yet to announce who will replace Anderson on The Hill but whoever it is will have to do so without star player Daniel Gafford, who has already declared for the upcoming NBA Draft and Embery.
