Auburn fans furious after Tigers’ 1st half vs. Kentucky: ‘Fire Hugh Freeze’

Auburn’s offense has struggled throughout the Hugh Freeze era, and that once again has been the case this season.
The defense has played well enough throughout the year to have more wins, but the offense just can’t get out of its own ways. Whether it is penalties or a lack of third-down conversions, Auburn‘s offense has hurt the team too often.
That once again is the case on Saturday night, as the Tigers are tied with Kentucky at the half with the score being 3-3. Fans are voicing their frustrations with the offensive performance, and they are calling for Freeze to be fired.
Auburn didn’t score until the final seconds of the first half when Alex McPherson kicked a 27-yard field goal to tie the game. The Tigers averaged just 3.3 yards per play before the break.
Here’s the best of the social media reaction from Auburn fans:
The Tigers have been competitive in nearly every game they have played this season. All four of their losses are in SEC play, and have been by a combined 29 points. In those four games, they have scored 17 points or less in every game, and scored 10 in two of them.
Freeze is known as an offensive guy, as that is how he got his breaks in college football. However, things just haven’t been good enough on that side of the football during his entire time at Auburn. Fans have officially lost their patience for him, and with how the SEC has been with coaches recently, it could be a tough night for Freeze if the Tigers don’t get the job done against Kentucky.
