It has been an up-and-down rookie season in Denver for Jerry Jeudy. The former Alabama standout has 38 catches, which puts him in a tie for 74th among pass-catchers. That number is above Ron Gronkowski (37 catches) but well behind fellow rookie wide receivers Justin Jefferson (61), CeeDee Lamb (59) and Tee Higgins (53).
After logging a season-high 7 catches against Atlanta on Nov. 8, Jeudy has caught just 8 passes over the last four games against Las Vegas (4 catches), Miami (3 catches), New Orleans (no catches) and Kansas City (1 catch). Jeudy appeared to vent on social media after the Kansas City game, tweeting “at least I got my conditioning in.”

Broncos coach Vic Fangio was asked about Jeudy’s recent lack of production and social media venting. Fangio shared that he does not mind Jeudy’s frustration, pointing out that it’s natural for a receiver to want more catches. Fangio also doesn’t think Jeudy has hit the so-called “rookie wall.”

Jeudy will look to bounce back as the Broncos face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
