The biggest upset in college football history, by Vegas’ standards, happened Saturday.

And Cam Newton’s little brother, Caylin, engineered the historic win.

FCS Howard upset FBS UNLV 43-40 in Las Vegas, and Newton started at QB as a true freshman. Newton threw for 140 yards and rushed for 185 more, accounting for three total TDs. That’s incredible.

Also incredible was the money you could have won by betting on Howard, which was a 45-point underdog.

Howard’s head coach is former UVA coach Mike London. Howard last coached at UVA in 2015, and he posted a 27-46 overall record before his resignation.

No doubt the younger Newton was talented exiting high school, but his size is what primarily kept bigger teams away. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds.
