Florida star defender Cece Jefferson suspended, 2 others out for Kentucky game

Florida will be without some depth tonight when Kentucky visits as the Gators announced that DL Cece Jefferson.
Overall, Florida was expected to see the return of six of the seven players suspended last week against Charleston Southern for “not living up to the Gator Standard.” Jefferson’s suspension is because of academic-related issues.
On the injury front, LB David Reese (ankle) and S Shawn Davis (undisclosed) are the only players ruled out.
The players expected to return are WR Kadarius Toney, DL Kyree Campbell, DL Luke Ancrum, DB Brian Edwards, RB Adarius Lemons and walk-on James Washington.
The game is set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
