Former LSU WR Odell Beckham Jr. auctioning cleats to help Louisiana flood victims

Before a Week 2 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. wore an interesting pair of custom Nike cleats.
The cleats said “NOLA BOY” on them, a reference to Beckham’s Louisiana roots. Beckham was born in Baton Rouge and played collegiately for the hometown LSU Tigers.
Now, the former LSU star will auction the cleats off to support victims of this summer’s devastating flooding in Louisiana:

For all the negative media surrounding OBJ this season, it’s nice to see him get recognized for something positive.
Though the talented receiver is playing on the big stage in the Big Apple, he clearly remembers his roots.
