One of the biggest games on deck this weekend in the SEC is the top-20 matchup between the No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners and the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers under the lights of Neyland Stadium in Rocky Top on Saturday night.

These 2 SEC powers will be fighting to keep pace in both the crowded conference title game and College Football Playoff pictures heading into the final month of the regular season of play, with very little margin for error for either squad.

ESPN analyst and former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Greg McElroy broke down this pivotal late-season clash on a recent episode of the Always College Football podcast, and he also made his pick for who the winner will ultimately be.

“I think this game is probably going to be a track meet,” McElroy said. “I think it has a chance at being a very high-scoring affair, and I’m going to take Oklahoma. I think that they have fewer holes than Tennessee right now, and the injuries in Tennessee’s back end really concern me. So even if the Oklahoma passing game has regressed, I think this could be the ‘get right’ recipe if their offensive line can hold up, and John Mateer can hit some big plays downfield.”
