Texas A&M has a QB battle heading into fall camp between Haynes King and Zach Calzada. One position where the Aggies don’t have a battle is tight end, where Jalen Wydermyer looks ready to become a star.
Wydermyer was named the first-team All-SEC tight end by media members during SEC Media Days.
Now, he’s gearing up to prove that preseason prediction right. On Saturday, he tweeted out a highlight video to help get people pumped for the 2021 season:

In 2020, Wydermyer caught 46 passes for 506 yards and 6 touchdowns. He averaged 11 yards per grab.
Whoever wins the Aggies’ starting QB job will likely look Wydermyer’s way early and often this season.
