Josh Dobbs is reportedly making his first-career NFL start Thursday.

Dobbs was signed by the Tennessee Titans earlier this month. With Ryan Tannehill unavailable, the Titans has reportedly decided to go with Dobbs over Malik Willis for Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Dobbs, who played at Tennessee from 2013-16, has been in the league since 2017. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 2 separate stints with Pittsburgh, Dobbs played in 5 games in 2018 and 1 game of the 2020 season. In limited regular-season action, Dobbs is 10-of-17 passing for 45 yards and an interception, while rushing 6 times for 31 yards. This year, Dobbs spent time with the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions before returning to the Volunteer State.

The Titans drafted Willis with the No. 86 overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. This season, he has appeared in 8 games, making 3 starts. Willis is 31-of-61 passing for 276 yards, 3 interceptions and no touchdowns. Willis has a rushing TD among his 27 carries for 123 yards.

The Tennessee-Dallas game is set for an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff from Nashville, streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
