Julio Jones not focused on getting revenge on Seahawks CB Richard Sherman

Former Alabama WR Julio Jones was involved in one of the most questionable plays of the season when his Atlanta Falcons played CB Richard Sherman’s Seattle Seahawks earlier this year.
With the Falcons trailing 26-24, a long pass to Jones was broken up by Sherman, but the Seahawks’ star clearly interfered on the play. However, the officials missed the call and cost the Falcons a chance to win.
Jones told AL.com that he’s not going to be playing for revenge on Saturday, though, as the Falcons host the Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Playoffs:
“This is not about me,” Jones said. “It’s about the Atlanta Falcons and the Seattle Seahawks. For me, I’m just getting ready like any other week. I don’t have any grudges against Sherman or nothing like that. I’m here to play ball. What happened then, it was then. This is now. We’ve just got to strap them on and go out there and play ball. …
“It’s just another game for me. It’s not like I want revenge or anything else like that. It’s just they’re in the way, so we’ve got to go out here and just play ball.”
Jones and the Falcons host the Seahawks at 4:35 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday afternoon. Watch the game on FOX.
