No. 24 Kentucky finishes the 2022 regular season with a 3-game home stretch. Up first is Vanderbilt.
For Saturday’s noon ET kickoff, Mark Stoops’ squad will sport white helmets, blue jerseys and white pants. Freshman standout WR Dane Key was spotlighted in the Twitter gameday gear reveal.
Key has been a weapon in the Kentucky passing attack this season. He leads all UK receivers with 5 touchdown catches, part of his 25 receptions for 383 yards. Tayvion Robinson and Barion Brown lead in receptions with 30. Robinson has a team-leading 421 receiving yards, edging Brown by 5.
The Wildcats have won their last 6 games against the Commodores. This season, Vanderbilt has yet to win an SEC game. Clark Lea’s squad enters with a 3-6 record, needing to finish strong to make a bowl game. UK has already secured bowl eligibility with 6 wins through the first 9 games.
Kentucky-Vanderbilt is set for noon ET, airing on the SEC Network.
