Georgia is the last Southeastern Conference team to begin practice this spring as the Bulldogs are hitting the field for the first time on Tuesday. To kick things off in Athens this spring, Kirby Smart met with the media to provide the latest updates on his team as they prepare for another season of SEC football.

Every team in the league is dealing with an injury or two during this time of year and Georgia is no different as Smart opened his Tuesday press conference by announcing a few players that would be limited or out completely this spring.

Starting with senior defensive lineman Julian Rochester (knee), senior defensive lineman Michail Carter (shoulder), true freshman linebacker Rian Davis (knee), true freshman tight end Ryland Goede (knee), true freshman linebacker Trezman Marshall are all players expected to be out.

Redshirt freshman Zamir White (knee) will be limited, although Smart noted he would be “running to the side” during practice. White was one of the top overall prospects in the nation coming out of the 2018 recruiting class but a camp injury set him back, forcing him to miss the field for his entire first season on campus.
