If the season ended today, there would be two SEC teams in the College Football Playoff — LSU and Georgia.

Of course, there are still a lot of huge matchups to be played around the country, and things will likely change in the College Football Playoff rankings in the next few weeks. The selection committee will still have some difficult decisions to make.

But as of now, the Tigers and Bulldogs are in the top four in the rankings, along with Ohio State and Clemson.

Here are the odds for each potential matchup featuring the current top four teams in the CFP rankings, courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook (h/t Bleacher Report):

LSU (-3.5) vs. Georgia
Ohio State (PK) vs. Clemson
Ohio State (-3.5) vs. LSU
Ohio State (-7) vs. Georgia
Clemson (-3.5) vs. LSU
Clemson (-7) vs. Georgia

Neither Ohio State nor Clemson is currently an underdog in any of those potential games, as there’s an even line for the matchup between the Buckeyes and Tigers.

It’s interesting to see that LSU is a 3.5-point favorite over Georgia, because that will likely be the matchup in this season’s SEC Championship Game. So, bettors can likely expect a similar line should the Tigers and Bulldogs face off for the conference title.
