Liam Coen is a hot name on the assistant coaching market, particularly with his former team — the Super Bowl-champion Los Angeles Rams.
Fresh off an impressive year as Kentucky’s offensive coordinator, it’s possible the former Sean McVay assistant takes the OC job in Los Angeles.
As you can see below, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says the Rams are considering Coen, along with former Las Vegas Raiders OC Greg Olson, after Kevin O’Connell left to become the Minnesota Vikings’ head coach:

“Couple names to keep an eye on for the Rams as far as their possible staff for offensive coordinator — Liam Coen, who is at Kentucky right now, their OC,” Rapoport said. “Was on the Rams’ staff for several years, a really, really bright young coach. Sounds like he has a very real shot at becoming the new offensive coordinator (in Los Angeles).”
Will Kentucky soon be looking for a new coordinator? We’ll see what happens over the next few days.
