Michigan players plant flag at midfield following dominant win over Ohio State

It is a rivalry, after all.
Michigan dominated Ohio State Saturday in “The Game,” blitzing the Buckeyes for a 45-23 final score, a 2nd straight win in the rivalry and a chance at the College Football Playoff field. The Wolverines now have strong wins over Ohio State, Penn State and Illinois.
Ohio State, meanwhile, is out of the Playoff running without some serious help. The Buckeyes need losses from TCU, USC and LSU to secure a spot. Ohio State fans and players know that. So do Michigan players.
The visiting team planted the Michigan flag at midfield in the middle of the Block O following the big win. Just to kick ’em while they’re down.

The Wolverines are likely to play one of Illinois or Purdue in the B1G Championship game. Win and Michigan is in, though the Wolverines may be able to sneak in even with a close loss.
