Mississippi State stays hot with 2019 class, picks up CB from Louisiana

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have been one of the hottest teams on the 2019 recruiting trails, landing an incredible six recruits entering Saturday.
On Saturday night, they made that total seven, as 3-star Louisiana DB Gregory Brooks Jr. committed to new coach Joe Moorhead’s squad.
As you can see below, Brooks announced his decision on Twitter, pledging his allegiance to Mississippi State:

According to the 247Sports composite, Brooks is the No. 44 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 19 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Bulldogs now have 16 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the SEC and No. 7 nationally, per 247Sports.
