Kansas snapped a long road losing streak Saturday with a 31-7 win at Central Michigan, but before the game was settled, the Lawrence Police Department tweeted a reminder about post-game celebrations.
A week after an overtime loss to Nicholls, Kansas snapped a 46-game road losing streak, the longest of its kind in college football. Before Saturday, the last time Kansas won away from home was a 34-7 victory over UTEP on Sept. 12, 2009.
Kansas scored first as QB Peyton Bender connected with WR Kerr Johnson Jr. for a 31-yard TD. That was the first time Kansas had a lead at halftime since the season opener of last season.
Alright folks, it’s been a while since KU won a road game, so let’s refresh everyone’s memory on how it works. Essentially if KU wins on the road, everyone celebrates by not breaking the law in any way. Let’s keep the tradition alive!

Kansas will look to make it two in a row next week when it plays host to Rutgers at 11 a.m.
