Heading into Week 11 of the college football season, there are a couple of big SEC matchups that will have serious implications on the College Football Playoff rankings.
No. 1 Georgia will travel to take on No. 10 Auburn, and No. 2 Alabama hits the road to face No. 16 Mississippi State. If one of the top teams loses, it would shake things up at the top of the CFP standings.

Indeed, Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson and Alabama QB Jalen Hurts have been two of the best players in the country this year, so it’s no surprise that they’re leading the nation in the above stats.
And yes, this is the 121st meeting between Georgia and Auburn, but not many of the previous 120 games have been as important as Saturday’s game at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Whatever happens this weekend, it should be a lot of fun to watch.
