The 2018 college football season is still a couple of months away, but excitement is building with each passing day.
On Friday, ESPN released a list of schedule superlatives, and unsurprisingly, there were a few SEC teams featured.
From Auburn and Washington meeting for the first time to Florida trying to avoid leaving the Sunshine State, here are the superlatives earned by SEC schedules:
- Best first-time meeting: Auburn vs. Washington
- The You-Can’t-Quit-Me game: Texas A&M vs. Clemson
- The Jim McElwain buyout game: Florida vs. Colorado State
- Longest road trip (Power 5): Texas A&M
- Least adventurous road schedule: Florida
- Best reunion games: Florida vs. Mississippi State
- Most road-avoidant schedule: Ole Miss
The full list of schedule superlatives can be found here, and it features some Group of 5 stuff, too.
