Titans coach Mike Mularkey explains what has impressed him about Derrick Henry so far

Though the start to Derrick Henry’s 2017 season didn’t get off to the best start as he was unexpectedly absent from the start of OTAs, he’s quickly worked his way back into favor with the Tennessee Titans.
The former Alabama star running back and Heisman Trophy winner is in great shape and Tennessee coach Mike Mularkey said on Tuesday that the second-year back is faster than he was as a rookie:

In addition to adding some speed to his repertoire, Henry has apparently also been working on his receiving skills, as evidenced by this slow-motion Instagram video:
Clearly, Henry wants to make it so he gets more playing time this fall. Though the Titans still have DeMarco Murray as the starter, Henry could quickly develop into one of the best backups in the NFL.
