Trey Sanders has been through a lot in the past year. Shortly after arriving at Alabama as a highly-touted player in the 2019 class, he suffered a season-ending injury.

In 2020, he got on the field for 4 games, but then got in a car accident and suffered a serious hip injury.

So, seeing him on the field again is a feel-good story. And on Saturday in Atlanta against Miami, Sanders not only got in the game, he ran for this nice 20-yard touchdown:

Then, he did a little extra, trolling Miami during the celebration in the end zone:

Thank goodness it wasn’t a “Horns Down” gesture, right?

There’s a reason Sanders was one of the top backs in his class. If he can stay healthy, he’ll be a big boost to the Alabama offense.
