The second College Football Playoff rankings of 2017 came out on Tuesday night, and No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Alabama maintained their positions from a week ago.

Auburn, however, was a big riser, moving up from No. 14 to No. 10, and the Tigers are firmly in the mix for a spot in the CFP if they can pull off upsets against Georgia and Alabama down the stretch.

After the updated rankings were released, BetOnline.ag updated its national title odds. As you can see below, the Crimson Tide are still the favorites, but Georgia is closing the gap:

  • Alabama: -150
  • Georgia: +500
  • Auburn: +3300

The team with the third-best odds to win the title is Clemson, checking in at +700. Clemson, an ACC powerhouse, currently sits in fourth place in the CFP rankings.

Both Alabama and Georgia face tough road tests this year, so it’ll be interesting to see how the nation’s top two teams perform ahead of the next iteration of the CFP rankings.
