Former SEC target reportedly becomes first Ohio State decommitment following Urban Meyer suspension

After an ugly summer for Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, the Buckeyes lost their first 2019 commitment on Friday night.
According to reports, 4-star LB/RB Kane Patterson has decommitted from the Buckeyes and will reopen his recruitment.
Per Brent Dougherty, Patterson — who is a Nashville native — will commit to a new school at a date to be determined:
I talked with @CPAFootball LB Kane Patterson. He has de-committed from Ohio State. He’ll concentrate on his senior season at this point and will re-visit a college choice decision at a later date.

According to the 247Sports composite, Patterson is the No. 9 inside linebacker in the class of 2019 and the No. 7 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.
