Vanderbilt picks up commitment from versatile 2019 ATH out of Alabama

The Vanderbilt Commodores have been recruiting the state of Alabama a lot lately, and on Tuesday, they landed another commitment from the state.

3-star 2019 ATH JR Tran-Reno became the Commodores’ third commitment from Alabama on Tuesday night.

As you can see below, the versatile athlete from Briarwood Christian School announced his decision on Twitter:

According to the 247Sports composite, Tran-Reno is the No. 163 athlete in the class of 2019 and the No. 68 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

The Commodores now have seven players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 13 in the SEC and No. 74 nationally, per 247Sports.
