WATCH: Nick Saban won’t rule out using both Alabama QBs this fall during ESPN appearance
Apparently, the ESPN daytime television show “First Take” didn’t get the memo from Nick Saban regarding Alabama’s quarterback position at SEC Media Days.
Saban opened his speech from Atlanta by telling the SEC media he has no information regarding Alabama’s quarterback competition and not to ask. The first question “First Take” asked Saban during his appearance on the show Tuesday? What do you need to see to name a starter in Tuscaloosa?
“Well, I’ve said this many times — somebody’s got to win the team,” Saban said on the show. “And both of these guys have done things in the program that create value for our team and the players in it — but that’s going to be the challenge. And if both guys can play a role and help us win, why wouldn’t we utilize both guys’ talents?”
Here’s the full segment of Saban’s reaction to the question from “First Take” on Tuesday:
