Friday night marked former Alabama RB Trent Richardson’s fourth game in the Canadian Football League, and he made an impact for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
In addition to running for 127 yards on 20 carries in his team’s 37-12 win over the Montreal Alouettes, Richardson also scored his first two CFL touchdowns.
The first score came on a goal-line plunge in the first quarter. As you can see in the video below from TSN, Richardson shows off his trademark power by running over a defender en route to the end zone:

It’s been a rough few years for Richardson, but powerful runs like that are a good sign that he still has a lot to give on a football field.
He may never get another shot in the NFL, but if he can keep putting up stats like he did on Friday night, he could play for a few years north of the border and make an impact in the process.
