What Admiral Schofield said about being on the bench during Tennessee’s OT win over Iowa

The Tennessee Volunteers came out firing on all cylinders against Iowa on Sunday, taking a 25-point lead at one point in the first half.
However, as is all too common in March Madness, the Hawkeyes came roaring back, sending the game to overtime before falling to the South region’s No. 2 seed. Notably absent from that overtime period was Tennessee star Admiral Schofield, who had four fouls.
Whatever the case, Schofield watched as teammate Grant Williams led the Vols to a victory and a spot in the Sweet 16. Some players would be mad about that, but Schofield was in good spirits after the game.
As you can see below, he and Williams discussed his absence after the game:

“I’m a winner and I want to win,” he says. “If that means I get out of the game and my other teammates — as in the Florida game — win it for us, that’s what I’ve got to do. Biggest thing was telling them to take care of the ball and this guy right here (Williams) making big shots for us.”
Schofield had a big first half and finished with 19 points and five rebounds. It was weird to see him on the bench in the clutch, but it worked.
