The college football season is now five weeks in, and a handful of SEC teams are still undefeated.

Those teams, along with 4-1 Auburn and Florida teams, are getting some serious love in the AP Poll, while others are knocking on the door.

On Monday, CBS Sports updated its 1-129 rankings of FBS programs, and six SEC squads crack the top 20, as you can see below:

  • No. 1 — Alabama
  • No. 3 — Georgia
  • No. 5 — LSU
  • No. 10 — Auburn
  • No. 13 — Kentucky
  • No. 20 — Florida
  • No. 31 — Texas A&M
  • No. 36 — Mizzou
  • No. 39 — Mississippi State
  • No. 40 — South Carolina
  • No. 70 — Ole Miss
  • No. 79 — Vanderbilt
  • No. 85 — Tennessee
  • No. 105 — Arkansas

There’s a big gap between South Carolina at No. 40 and Ole Miss at No. 70, but that just goes to show how deep the SEC has been this year (and how bad the bottom of the conference has been).

Check back next week to see how the Week 6 slate of games changes things.
