Former Alabama safety Shyheim Carter will get another shot in the NFL

The 6-foot, 190-pounder was signed to the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad on Thursday, according to Al.com.

Carter was on the Houston Texans’ practice squad to start the 2021 season but was released in mid-October.

He also as had practice squad stints with with the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons after going undrafted following his playing days in Tuscaloosa.

Carter played in 50 games during his Crimson Tide career. He recorded 43 tackles and 7 pass break-ups as a senior in 2019.

The Titans, who are 10-5 on the season, will face Miami at home on Sunday.
