Todd McShay is out with a 2023 mock draft and the SEC is well-represented once again.

The ESPN draft analyst listed CJ Stroud of Ohio State at No. 1 overall to the Houston Texans, as the improved quarterback class arrived at the top of the order.

“I’m that excited about this group,” McShay wrote. “After only one quarterback was selected in the first 73 picks this year, we could see a handful in the first round next April. There are also truly special prospects on the defensive side of the ball, and I think we could see five-plus receivers in Round 1 yet again. So let’s project the early scope of the first round.”

As expected, Alabama has 2 of the top 3 picks, and Georgia’s defense is once again well-represented.

Players with an asterisk are underclassmen.
