This is the type of news we hate to share but according to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN, two Ohio State football players face charges of rape and kidnapping following an alleged incident last week in Ohio.

Senior defensive backs Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint have both been arrested on early Wednesday morning after being charged with first-degree felonies in Ohio on Tuesday.

Following this news, Ohio State has suspended Riep and Wint from all team activities and issued a statement noting the program is aware of the charges against the two players.

According to the alleged victim, she was having consensual sex with Riep before Wint entered the room. The victim claims Wint asked to join and eventually ended up raping her with the help of Riep. The two Buckeye defenders are roommates.

Ripe, an Ohio native, has made 37 appearances for Ohio State during his college career while Wint, a native of New York, has made 35 appearances during his Buckeye career.
