AJ Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles came up just short of winning Super Bowl LVII Sunday, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs 38-35.

On Tuesday, in honor of Valentines Day, Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster put the following image on social media, containing a picture of Eagles DB James Bradberry and a Valentines Day card that reads “I’ll hold you when it matters most.”

Of course, Bradberry was part of a controversial ending the the Super Bowl, holding Smith-Schuster on 3rd down deep in KC territory. Because of the hold, the Chiefs were given a first down and simply milked clock before knocking through the game-winning field goal with seconds remaining. Brown fired back on Twitter a few minutes later, jumping to defend his Eagles teammate.

And let’s just say this: advantage AJ Brown.

Whew.

Brown and the Eagles left everything on the field Sunday. Jalen Hurts put together a Herculean effort with Brown as his 2nd leading receiver. The former Ole Miss standout totaled 6 receptions for 96 yards and 1 touchdown.
