Ole Miss tied the Egg Bowl at 14-14 just before halftime.

Thanks to a botched fake punt, the Rebels drove down the field and scored the tying touchdown just before halftime.

Facing 4th and 11, MSU punter Tucker Day fumbled the snap, picked it up and ran with it, and he was tackled well short of the first down marker. He only gained four yards. It appeared like Day had a chance to punt it anyway; however he chose to run it.

Joe Moorhead wasn’t happy with that decision either.

Ole Miss took control at the MSU 49-yard-line, and it went on a nine-play, 51-yard touchdown drive capped off by a Jerrion Ealy touchdown run.

Plumlee has rushed for 30 yards, while Ealy has rushed for 43 yards. Both true freshmen have rushing touchdowns.
