The 2016 NFL draft is set for April 28-30 and the SEC will be well represented, at least in the minds of CBS Sports, which placed 13 players from the conference in its top 50 list.

A few college all-star games are yet to be played and there could still be some shifting. CBS Sports will update its top 50 list three more times before the draft, including once after the NFL Combine, and again after Pro Days, with a final list produced a week prior to the actual draft.

Here are the 13 SEC players with their current rankings, according to the CBS Sports NFL draft top 50:

1. OT Laremy Tunsil (Ole Miss) – The 6-foot-5, 305-pound junior runs a 5.23 and has outstanding footwork. Regarded as the best player on the board, it’s no wonder he’s coming out early. Ole Miss’ loss will be some NFL team’s gain. Tunsil powered an explosive Ole Miss offense the last three seasons developing into the premier offensive lineman in the country.

6. WR Laquon Treadwell (Ole Miss) – The 6-foot-2, 210-pound junior with 4.52 speed is another early entry into the draft from Ole Miss. Overcoming a devastating injury in 2014, Treadwell was bigger and better in 2015, rising to the top of the draft board at his position. Being compared by some to Dez Bryant, Treadwell has the size, speed and hands to be among the elite at the next level.

14. CB Vernon Hargreaves (Florida) – At 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, the speedy junior with 4.48 speed has overcome his lack of size with exceptional speed, instincts and a competitive spirit that has NFL scouts taking notice. He’s another of the many early entries into the NFL draft and will be missed in the Gators’ secondary in 2016.

 15. LB Reggie Ragland (Alabama) – The 6-foot-2, 252-pound senior (4.72 speed) led an Alabama defense that helped secure the 2015 National Championship. A nose for the football, Ragland plays at full speed with reckless abandon. A hard-hitting tackler, Ragland is also astute at fighting off blocks that allows him to be disruptive anywhere on the field.

18. DT Jarran Reed (Alabama) – At 6-foot-3, 313, Reed has the size and speed to be a good one at the next level. The senior has been clocked at 5.14 in the 40 and glides along the defensive line with agility and solid football instincts. He led the Tide in tackles the last two seasons and is the top nose tackle on the board.

21. DT Robert Nkemdiche (Ole Miss) – An anchor in the Ole Miss defensive front, the 6-foot-3, 296-pound junior has excellent speed (4.86) and athleticism to match his raw power at the line of scrimmage. Still considered a project by some, the Rebels’ leader on defense has tremendous upside nonetheless. He has the skills and potential to be an All-Pro for years to come.

28. DL Jonathan Bullard (Florida) – The senior stayed at Florida for one more year and now the 6-foot-3, 283-pounder with 4.86 speed has developed into one of the best around on the defensive line. His quick reactions enable him to plug up the line of scrimmage and that proved to be valuable in the Gators’ success this season.

30. DT A’Shawn Robinson (Alabama) – An imposing 6-foot-3, 312 pounds, the junior was a man among boys at the line of scrimmage for Alabama in 2015. When he wasn’t destroying opposing running backs at the line of scrimmage, Robinson took on double-teams consistently throughout the season, allowing his talented teammates to clean up.

34. WR Pharoh Cooper (South Carolina) – At 5-foot-11 and 208 pounds, the swift junior with 4.52 speed, was South Carolina’s go-to player on offense this season. He can make defenders miss and is very dangerous in the open field. It’s why South Carolina got him the football in whatever way it could throughout the 2015 season.

40. LB Leonard Floyd (Georgia) – Some believe the 6-foot-3, 232-pound redshirt junior with 4.73 speed hasn’t yet reached his potential and look for him to move up on the board before the draft. He still has work to do in fighting off blocks, but is adept at rushing the quarterback.

42. TE Hunter Henry (Arkansas) – A big target at 6-foot-5, 253 pounds, the junior possesses 4.79 speed and an ability to run routes and catch the football above all others at his position. Line blocking must be improved, but Henry is the kind of reliable target most NFL quarterbacks only dream of.

44. RB Derrick Henry (Alabama) – What more needs to be said of the 6-foot-2, 242-pound junior Heisman Trophy winner that hasn’t already been said? Clocked at 4.54, Henry has the ability to run over as well as past defenders with deceptive speed. He is in line to be Alabama’s fifth running back drafted in the first two rounds.

50. OC Ryan Kelly (Alabama) – A three-year starter, the 6-foot-4, 297-pound redshirt senior has the experience to be effective in the NFL almost immediately. Quick and aggressive, Kelly is looked upon as the top center on the board.
