When the Ole Miss Rebels had their self-imposed bowl ban extended by a year by the NCAA, many players decided to transfer.

Among those was OLB Breon Dixon, a 4-star commit in Ole Miss’s 2017 class who played sparingly as a freshman.

The talented linebacker announced on Sunday that he would be heading to the Big Ten and committing to Nebraska, as you can see in the tweet below:

Dixon appeared in six games in 2017, recording a total of five tackles from his linebacker position. The Georgia native was the No. 12 linebacker in the class of 2017 and the No. 26 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

Now, he’ll team up with former UCF coach Scott Frost, who is Nebraska’s new head coach starting next season.
