Former Ole Miss OL Javon Patterson to miss rookie NFL season with injury
Former Ole Miss OL Javon Patterson was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
In his quest to earn a roster spot and a role with the team, though, he has apparently suffered a major setback.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Colts coach Frank Reich has confirmed that Patterson tore his ACL in practice on Tuesday and will miss the entire 2019 season:

That’s a tough break for the rookie, who played well at Ole Miss the past couple of years. However, he’ll be able to work with team doctors for his rehab and should be back in time for offseason workouts this time next year.
