Former Ole Miss and current Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil missed Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans for what was believed to be a “pregame injury.”

It turns out Tunsil’s injury did occur prior to the game, but also before he was even in the stadium.

According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, the rookie lineman slipped getting out of the shower at the local team hotel Sunday morning and his ankle swelled, which prevented him from playing in the team’s afternoon game.

Originally, it was reported that Tunsil injured himself in pre-game preparations.

Tunsil has started as both a left guard and left tackle — which he was expected to play for the second consecutive week in the absence of injured OL Braden Albert — during his rookie season. Miami selected Tunsil at No. 13 overall in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

The former Ole Miss star was projected as a top 5 draft pick, but saw his draft stock fall after his Twitter account posted a video of him smoking marijuana from a gas mask, which he claimed was the result of hacking.
