Kirk Herbstreit warns SEC teams about Ole Miss this year
Kirk Herbstreit watched Ole Miss looked very impressive on Monday night in Atlanta against Louisville during a 43-23 victory to open the season.
Of course the big question this season is how much the Rebels’ defense would be improved from last season, and then could the offense pick up where it left off in 2020. Both appear to be headed in the right direction.
The ESPN broadcaster, who called the game on Monday night with Rece Davis, issued a warning to SEC teams.
“DO NOT get behind this team & think you can get back into the game. This offense keeps its foot on the gas till the last possession,” he wrote on social media. “Rebs look like a complete team!”
Ole Miss returns to action this week against Austin Peay.
Memo to anyone playing @OleMissFB this yr-DO NOT get behind this team & think you can get back into the game. This offense keeps its foot on the gas till the last possession. Hard to keep up w/ @corral_matt & company and hope to get a service break. Rebs look like complete team!
