Malik Heath’s college football journey began in junior college before his transfer to Mississippi State for a pair of seasons, followed by his time with Ole Miss in 2022.

The Rebels wide receiver will now turn his attention to the NFL Draft. He made the announcement on his Twitter account on Friday:

In 13 games, Heath made 60 catches for 971 yards and 5 touchdowns, leading the Rebels in receptions and yards and tied with Jonathan Mingo with the most touchdown catches. That followed his 2 seasons at Mississippi State, where he combined for 71 catches, 749 yards, and 8 scores.

Prior to his time in Starkville, the former 4-star recruit from Jackson (Miss.) Callaway spent 2 years at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he totaled 61 catches for 835 yards and 7 touchdowns. He picked up 1st-team all-conference honors after his 2nd season.

Ole Miss finished the 2022 season with an 8-5 mark. Lane Kiffin’s team dropped its last 4 games, including a 45-25 loss to Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl on Wednesday. Heath led all receivers with 8 catches for 137 yards in that one, including a touchdown.
