This is a cold comment towards a former teammate.

A rough year for Ole Miss fans is continuing to get worse as a number of Rebels players have announced plans to transfer following NCAA penalties leveled on the program. Among those looking to transfer is talented QB Shea Patterson.

One player that has been granted a full release from the program is DB Deontay Anderson. Anderson is transferring and will also petition the NCAA in order to be eligible to play immediately instead of sitting out for a season.

With that in mind, Anderson shared an interesting photo of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh Tuesday morning. Anderson did not provide any comments with the photo, but it was later reported that Anderson and Patterson are expected to visit Michigan this weekend.

It will be interesting to watch how that situation develops, but Anderson’s former teammate, OL Robert Conyers, threw some serious shade at the safety on social media.

Here’s the original tweet with the photo that was shared by Brad Logan:

Here’s Conyers’ reply:

Anderson did play as a freshman in 2016 and recorded 32 total tackles and an interception. Apparently his play didn’t impress Conyers who played in 34 games with 16 starts over his Rebels career.
