Ole Miss had one of the best passing offenses in the SEC over the past few seasons, and Damore’ea Stringfellow was a major contributor.

The dynamic receiver surprisingly announced in December that he would skip his senior season and enter the 2017 NFL Draft. As one of the Rebels’ top options last year, Stringfellow caught 46 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns.

Stringfellow is following in his former teammate Laquon Treadwell’s footsteps. Treadwell left Ole Miss early and was selected late in the first round of last year’s NFL draft. Stringfellow’s chances of vaulting up in the draft may have taken a hit, as he has reportedly has not been invited to participate in the combine due to his previous criminal record.

Stringfellow transferred to Ole Miss from Washington in the summer of 2014, after pleading guilty to three gross misdemeanor charges for an assault on Seattle Seahawks fans near campus after the Super Bowl.

The receiver finished his Ole Miss career with 82 catches for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns.
